By default, most of our products include COSMOS-certified Red Willow Bark Extract, a phyto-medicinal powerhouse rich in prebiotics, antioxidants, and exfoliating compounds. This botanical extract naturally contains salicin, a precursor to salicylic acid, renowned for its potent exfoliating, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, it boasts high concentrations of tannins, flavonoids, phenolic acids, and essential minerals, which work synergistically to soothe scalp, skin and hair while promoting cellular regeneration.
If you are allergic to aspirin, follow your health care provider’s advice about using skin/scalp/haircare products with Red Willow Bark.
SLIP WASH – Ultra-Mild, Moisturizing & Conditioning Cleanser
Description:
SLIP WASH is an ultra-mild yet highly effective cleanser designed to gently cleanse while delivering deep hydration and moisture. It features Red Willow Bark Extract, a phyto-medicinal plant known for its prebiotic, antioxidative, exfoliating, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Formulated with a natural creamy humectant foam, this cleanser provides a strong "conditioning slip effect", making it ideal for detangling dry and fragile kinks and coils while simultaneously restoring and balancing the scalp's microbiota.
This 2-in-1 formula cleanses and conditions simultaneously, eliminating the need for a separate conditioner. Suitable for all hair types.
How to Use:
- Application – Pump a small amount of SLIP WASH into your palm. The formula is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way.
- Scalp Massage – Apply to a wet scalp and gently massage for 2–3 minutes, ensuring you work between the hair shafts without rubbing aggressively or using your nails. A scalp brush is advised.
- Processing Time – Leave on for 5 minutes or follow the advice of your healthcare provider or scalp specialist.
- Detangling & Rinsing – provided with extra "slip & detangle" actives makes it possible, to easily comb through the hair before rinsing. Rinse thoroughly and dry gently.
- Slip Wash doesn't foam as much as regular shampoos. To increase spread - add more water - not more product.
For Dreadlocks:
- Allow the product to soak for 20–30 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water.
- Repeat if necessary.

Designed to support severely dry, flaky, or imbalanced scalps, these masks help promote a healthy scalp microbiome while hydrating and nourishing the hair.
Each formula is enriched with Red Willow Bark Extract, a phyto-medicinal powerhouse that contains salicin, the natural precursor to salicylic acid. How to Use:
- Application – Spread evenly from scalp to ends on wet hair, ensuring thorough coverage of the scalp first.
- Massage & Detangle – The formula is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Add water to enhance slip for easier scalp application and hair detangling.
- Processing Time – Leave on for 20 minutes to allow full scalp absorption, or follow your health care provider’s advice.
- Rinsing – Rinse thoroughly with warm water, ensuring all residue is removed from the scalp
- Extra Protection Tip – If the scalp is dry, finish with a cold water rinse to help lock in moisture and refresh curls.
- Drying – dry gently, natural drying is advised, avoiding excessive rubbing to maintain scalp hydration and hair smoothness.
